After graduating from Kadir Has University Faculty of Law, Dr. Melih Can Korkmaz pursued his Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the Freie Universität Berlin and subsequently completed his Ph.D. in International Trade Law at Marmara University. He has served as a legal counsel for various prominent domestic and multinational corporations. He regularly advises clients on complex distributorship agreements, with a particular focus on cross-border commercial relations between Middle Eastern and Turkish companies.

Dr. Korkmaz has extensive experience in corporate law, capital markets law, insurance law, and intellectual property law—specifically focusing on trademarks, insurance policies, industrial designs, patents, and antitrust/competition disputes. Fully proficient in German and French, he has published numerous academic articles in both Turkish and German within the field of Intellectual Property Law. He continues to focus his legal practice heavily on patents, commercial trademarks, and industrial designs.
