  • Those who fired a weapon in a residential area, its surroundings, or in a public path without necessity,

  • Individuals convicted of disgraceful crimes,

  • Individuals convicted of manufacturing, importing, exporting, selling, or transporting narcotics or psychotropic substances, or aiding such crimes,

  • Those convicted for temporarily transferring their licensed firearm to others,

  • Individuals convicted of using cutting or piercing weapons in committing a crime under Article 4 of Law No. 6136,

  • Those who failed to notify the licensing authority within six months of the disappearance of the legal basis for their license,

  • Individuals caught carrying a firearm in prohibited zones,

  • Persons who misused firearms registered under the inventory of the General Directorate of Youth and Sports.


8 - Where and with Which Documents Should One Apply for a Shotgun License?

To apply for a non-rifled shotgun license, applicants must submit the following documents to the local administrative authority:

  1. Application in person, by proxy, or electronically,

  2. Petition,

  3. Single-doctor health report (e-report),

  4. Certificate from the tax office showing no overdue tax debt exceeding 5,000 TL,

  5. One biometric photo taken within the past year,

  6. Non-rifled shotgun license fee receipt,

  7. Proof of payment of the non-rifled shotgun license card fee.


9 - Where to Obtain the Health Report for a Non-Rifled Shotgun License or Renewal?

A “Single Physician Report” must be issued by healthcare providers affiliated with the Ministry of Health or universities.


10 - How Are Transfers of Non-Rifled Shotguns Handled?

If the current license holder and the recipient appear together at the licensing authority, a transfer verification report is issued, and the transfer is completed.
